I received the 12 Pack Permanent Fabric Markers from E & I Trading Ltd.
My 13 and 8 year old daughters love arts and crafts. My kids are always asking me to write on their shirts but all we had were permanent markers. I never let them for fear of them getting permanent marker everywhere. Then I came across these fabric markers and decided to get them for the girls as a surprise.
With this pack you get 12 markers. Each marker is dual tipped. One side is fine tipped and the other is broad tipped. These are non-toxic and kid safe so I don’t have to worry about them using them.
Out of the package they were ready to be used. We did not have to “prime” these to use them. This set included a fabric picture so that you can test the colors before using them. Each marker is clearly marked with a color name and number so there’s no guessing.
The colors of the markers are very vivid. We did have to go over some areas more than once to get the colors to show up better but that was to be expected.
Since these are dual tipped, were were able to write as well as draw pictures. The fine tip was perfect for letters and outlines while the broad tip was perfect for filling in large spaces. The colors bled through minimally so they were able to decorate both the front and back of their shirts.
Once my daughter’s projects were complete, we stuck the shirts in the dryer for around 10-15 minutes to set the colors in. After the first washing the colors did fade some but not drastically. After washing the shirt a few times already, the colors haven’t faded any more.
Overall, these were fun and exciting for my girls so it was a win on my part.
